This year’s Women’s Empowerment Expo
took place on Saturday, July 12th from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the
Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. Hosted by Radio One Detroit and sponsored by
Motor City Accident Attorneys, this events mission was to uplift, outreach and
educate the public with a fun, informative day filled with inspiration. Tyler
Perry was the keynote speaker who addressed participants and led the day!
The Women’s Empowerment Expo offered
talks on a variety of topics and issues like living with diabetes, going on a
debt diet, starting your own business, marriage and relationship issues and
more! Salt –N- Pepa, Raheem DeVaughn and the R&B Divas of L.A. were all at
the event providing live musical entertainment all day long! Aside from the
